History of drawing:
Risen is a reflective piece based on the mountains in Colorado where I live. I have always loved drawing/painting/re-creating the mountains and this was one of the most enjoyable re-creations I have done. I wanted to do different layers with different colors, hence the purple mountains majesty and bright sun. I love that Colorado makes me feel wild any time I step outside. I hope this piece reminds you to be wild to, to get up each day with passion, and to live in vibrant color.
