History of painting:
Broken Rose started off with me painting a traditional rose and quickly evolved into a brightly colored broken apart abstract rose. I like to think that when something’s broken, it only means it will be stronger once it heals. I love that my rose turned out broken and I love that I love it even more than if it had been a traditional rose. I hope this painting reminds you that pain is just a precedence for strength.
